Privacy
Reggie is a concierge you reach by text message. This page explains what we collect when you use Reggie, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- How you reach Reggie: the phone numbers and Apple ID email addresses you text from.
- Messages: what you send Reggie and what he sends back, including photos and contact cards you share, and messages in group chats Reggie is part of.
- Your account: if you sign in with Google, your name and email address.
- Your calendar, if you connect it: the events on your Google Calendar for the coming week, and the events Reggie adds, moves or cancels for you.
- What you tell Reggie: preferences, plans and details he remembers so he doesn't have to ask twice, such as where you live or how you like your table.
- Requests: what you ask Reggie to arrange (reservations, deliveries, rides, tickets) and the details needed to arrange it.
- People you mention: when you share a contact or bring Reggie into a group chat, we keep those people's names and numbers so Reggie can recognize them and pass along messages you ask him to.
How we use it
- To reply to you, carry out your requests and remember your preferences.
- Our small operations team reads requests and conversations to arrange things for you and to keep Reggie's replies good.
- To keep the service working and safe, including limits on usage and preventing abuse.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If you connect it, Reggie reads your upcoming events so he can catch conflicts and plan around them, and adds, moves or cancels events when you ask, including putting confirmed bookings on it. He only mentions your events in your own conversation with him, never in group chats. We store the access Google grants us encrypted, use your calendar data only to provide these features to you, don't use it for advertising, and don't sell or share it except with the AI provider that writes Reggie's replies. You can disconnect anytime from your account page or your Google account settings, and we delete the stored access when you do. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Who we share it with
Only with the services that run Reggie, and with businesses when it's needed to do what you asked:
- Anthropic provides the AI that reads and writes Reggie's messages.
- Sendblue delivers messages over iMessage and SMS.
- Railway hosts Reggie's servers, and Cloudflare stores encrypted backups and runs our domain.
- Google handles sign-in, and your calendar if you connect it.
- Restaurants, venues and other businesses receive what's needed for a booking you asked for, such as your name, party size and time.
We may also share information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you use Reggie. Backups are kept for 30 days. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll delete it from Reggie and it will age out of backups within 30 days.
Your choices
- Email [email protected] to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it.
- Tell us if you'd like Reggie to stop messaging you, and he will.
- You can remove phones and email addresses from your account page at any time.
Children
Reggie isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. Younger family members who end up in a group chat with Reggie get a kid-friendly version of him.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit and limited access for our team. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let members know.
